Israeli Army Uses Wounded Palestinian as Human Shield in Jenin
Eyewitnesses in Ramallah, Palestine, reported that the Israeli army used a gunshot-wounded Palestinian as a human shield to exit the area without being exposed to explosives or gunfire from resistance fighters in Jenin. A video showing the injured individual tied to the bonnet of an armored vehicle went viral, sparking outrage.
The merciless act of tying the wounded person to the military jeep prevented Palestinian Red Crescent crews from providing medical assistance. Witnesses stated that the incident occurred after Israeli forces besieged a house in Jenin’s Jabariyat neighborhood.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club Director condemned the incident as another example of the daily crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people. Tensions have escalated across the West Bank following the Israeli military offensive in Gaza, resulting in numerous casualties.
The international community has been called upon to take action to stop these crimes, with accusations of genocide against Israel. The Health Ministry reported over 553 Palestinian deaths and thousands injured by Israeli army fire in the West Bank.
