President of NAMM, Captain Tajudeen Alao, emphasized the importance of keeping up with technological advancements for efficient business operations. The project, signed on May 30, 2022, aims to implement paperless customs procedures for the Nigeria Customs Service.

Alao stressed the value of the project in terms of increased revenue and streamlined customs processes. General Manager of the Trade Facilitation Project, Mr Ahmed Ogunshola, highlighted the simplified import and export procedures and the potential for significant growth in government revenue.
