Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari assures PML-N of support with budget
The differences between PML-N and PPP regarding the budget for the upcoming fiscal year have been resolved after PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Both parties have agreed to support each other on mutual concerns. Some minor reservations expressed by PPP will be addressed through dialogue, as stated by Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.
During the meeting, it was mentioned that the PML-N government in Punjab was creating difficulties for PPP. A meeting between government and political party committees is scheduled for further discussions.
PPP, a major ally of the PML-N coalition government, had previously boycotted the budget session but later agreed to send representation after concerns were addressed. PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasized working together for the country’s development and prosperity.
