Exploring Tavush Province to Locate ‘Fence’

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the opposition Tavush for the Homeland movement in Armenia, embarked on a journey to the border villages of Tavush Province to investigate the situation firsthand. His mission was to locate the disputed “fence” that was said to exist between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Expressing skepticism about the existence of this fence, Archbishop Galstanyan emphasized the importance of seeing it with his own eyes. The opposition movement had erupted after the announcement of border delimitation discussions between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush Province, igniting protests led by Galstanyan.

After days of demonstrations in Kirants village, Archbishop Galstanyan decided to march to Yerevan to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Subsequently, a transitional government was formed under Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan’s leadership, with him as the candidate for Prime Minister.

Follow along as Archbishop Galstanyan continues his quest for truth and justice in Tavush, challenging the status quo and advocating for the Armenian people.
