PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Meets PM Shehbaz Sharif to Discuss Budget Concerns
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari recently met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to convey the party’s reservations regarding the budget for 2024-25. During the meeting, PM Shehbaz emphasized the importance of political parties working together for the nation’s development and public welfare.
The discussions, as per a statement from the PM Office, revolved around national political issues and the upcoming budget. PM Shehbaz highlighted positive economic indicators and relief measures for the public in the new financial year’s budget. Further consultations are expected through committees.
The gathering also included members from the PML-N, with a dinner hosted in honor of the PPP delegation. Notably, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s absence from the budget session earlier was due to perceived lack of consultation by the government.
