Protests flared up in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as part of a ‘week of disruption’ demanding elections to hold the government accountable for its handling of recent conflicts in the north and south. Demonstrators also criticized the government for what they described as a ‘shameful failure’ to secure the release of hostages.
One of the focal points of the protests was outside Prime Minister Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea, where thousands gathered to voice their discontent with the current administration. The demonstrators made it clear that they were not satisfied with the government’s response to the various crises the country has been facing.
