Authorities in North London, Ont., have apprehended a Peterborough man on charges related to child pornography and child luring following an investigation.
South Bruce OPP initiated the investigation in Huron-Kinloss Township, Bruce County, after the man allegedly solicited a sexually explicit image of a teenage girl through a social media platform.
The 29-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested by OPP on Wednesday and is facing charges of possessing child pornography and three counts of luring a minor under 16 through telecommunications.
After being taken into custody, the man appeared in court. However, his identity is being withheld due to a court-ordered publication ban.
