A Nigerian pilgrim from Jigawa State, Abba Limawa, demonstrated honesty and integrity by returning a significant sum of money he found in Makkah during the Hajj pilgrimage. Limawa discovered 10,500 Russian rubles, 800 dollars, and 690 Saudi Riyals inside a waist bag while on his way to pray at the Masjid Haram.

Choosing to do the right thing, Limawa handed over the money to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, showcasing exemplary character and honesty. This act not only reflects positively on Nigeria but also sets a commendable standard for all pilgrims.

The post-Afarat conference, where Limawa returned the money, aimed at reviewing the Hajj rituals and planning for future operations. The Saudi government released the timetable for the 2025 Hajj operation, signaling the beginning of preparations for the next pilgrimage season.

As three flights prepare to bring back pilgrims from Kebbi, Nasarawa, and the Federal Capital Territory, stakeholders are advised to stay updated on the latest developments. Limawa’s story serves as a reminder of the importance of honesty and integrity in all endeavors.
