North Korea’s Mansudae Overseas Project Group of Companies has initiated the deployment of professionals overseas to generate foreign income, as reported by Daily NK.
The group, known for its involvement in international artistic and architectural projects, is part of the sanctioned entities listed in the U.N. Security Council Resolution 2371.
Approximately 30 experts in art, architecture, and design were sent to countries such as Zimbabwe, Angola, and Nigeria to work on various cultural cooperation projects, aiming to showcase North Korean talent and earn foreign currency.
This strategic move by North Korea highlights its commitment to promoting its artistic and architectural prowess on a global scale while fulfilling its foreign exchange revenue targets.
The government sees this deployment as a multi-faceted approach to enhancing international cultural exchanges, economic benefits, and showcasing North Korea’s skills to the world.
