Jamiat calls for immediate investigation to ensure justice for victims

Prominent Muslim Organization Urges Justice for Aligarh Lynching Victim

On Tuesday night, a man named Fareed was brutally lynched in Aligarh by a mob accusing him of theft, sparking communal tension in the area. Six individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, while seven others have been identified.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, a prominent Muslim organization, strongly condemned the act of mob violence and demanded swift action from the Uttar Pradesh government to bring the perpetrators to justice. In a statement, Jamiat chief Maulana Mahmood Madani stressed the need for civilized society to reject such barbaric acts.

Madani called for a thorough investigation, fair compensation for the victim’s family, and urged all communities to seek justice through legal means. A delegation from Jamiat, along with other civil organizations, visited the victim’s family to offer condolences and support.

The tragic incident underscores the importance of upholding justice and peace to prevent further division in society. Let us stand together in condemning such acts of violence and work towards a more harmonious and just society.
