The Green Party’s executive has finalized the election details, with the new leader to be announced on 8 July just before the Dáil recess begins. Meanwhile, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media Catherine Martin is stepping down, prompting an upcoming deputy leadership election.

Taoiseach Simon Harris is urging party members to focus on their roles and push back against early general election speculation amidst the leadership changes within the Green Party. It’s an exciting time for the party as they gear up for a new chapter in their leadership.
