Casablanca Police Arrest Danish Fugitive Wanted for Manslaughter

In a recent operation in Casablanca, members of the National Brigade of Judicial Police (BNPJ) successfully arrested a 32-year-old Danish man who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by Danish authorities. The warrant was issued in connection to a case of voluntary manslaughter involving international drug trafficking networks.

This arrest showcases the ongoing efforts of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in collaborating with international partners to combat transnational crime. The suspect was found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis and a falsified German passport bearing a false identity.

The apprehended individual is currently in police custody, pending further investigation supervised by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The Interpol National Central Bureau in Rabat, under the DGSN’s authority, is working to inform Danish authorities and proceed with the extradition process.

Such successful operations highlight the dedication of Moroccan law enforcement in dealing with international criminal cases and upholding justice.
