The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Gnel Sanosyan, met with a delegation led by Sarah Morgenthau, the US Department of State Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs, including US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen friendly and commercial ties between Armenia and the United States.
Discussions revolved around American companies’ involvement in infrastructural projects in Armenia, the Crossroads of Peace project, and the recent floods in Lori and Tavush Provinces. The delegation expressed interest in supporting the restoration of infrastructure post-flood.
The meeting also explored the potential for direct flights between Armenia and the US, along with other bilateral matters of interest. Overall, the discussions highlighted the mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation and partnership in various sectors.
