Despite the UK’s 14.3% gender pay gap, Reeves draws inspiration from past Labour women leaders and aims to make significant strides in gender equality. She envisions a future where women hold 50% of company board seats and where executive positions are equally accessible.
Labour’s strategy includes opening new nurseries, expanding childcare options, and prioritizing flexible working rights. Reeves remains committed to reviewing parental leave policies and ensuring gender equality in the workplace.
