Campos Neto’s support for a bill to increase the bank’s financial independence has drawn criticism.
The lawsuit alleges that Campos Neto’s actions are driven by private interests and violate principles of morality and impartiality. Despite ongoing public statements and interviews, the Central Bank has yet to comment on the matter.
