The agreement inked in Port Moresby will enhance efforts to combat financial crimes, provide better access to justice for rural and young populations, and upgrade the safety of correctional facilities.
Following Li’s departure, a significant Australian delegation, including top officials, visited PNG to showcase diplomatic solidarity.
Foreign Minister Wong emphasized the mutual benefits of a safer PNG, highlighting the importance of joint efforts in bolstering domestic security.
Foreign Minister Tkachenko praised the collaboration between the countries to reinforce “Pacific unity” and aid each other during crises.
