Armenian movement thrives independently without outside help

The Tavush for the Homeland movement in Armenia, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, is a national-liberation movement with a strong emphasis on spiritual and moral values. The movement, which rejects external assistance, aims to address domestic issues and assert Armenia’s sovereignty on its own terms.

The protests and civil disobedience actions initiated by Archbishop Galstanyan gained momentum following a border delimitation agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The movement culminated in a demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, leading to the announcement of a transitional government with Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan as the PM candidate.
