US set to boost collaboration with Armenia.

The Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, recently met with Richard Verma, US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, to discuss the ongoing development of Armenia-US strategic dialogue and cooperation in various sectors. Pashinyan highlighted the importance of Verma’s visit in furthering bilateral relations, democracy, and economic empowerment in Armenia, as well as strengthening ties at the local level.

Verma expressed the US’ commitment to enhancing collaboration with Armenia, particularly in areas such as local governance, economy, and education. The meeting also touched upon the implementation of agreements from a recent high-level meeting between Armenia, the EU, and the US.

Additionally, discussions encompassed the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty, border issues, the Crossroads of Peace project, and housing programs for displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh. PM Pashinyan emphasized the importance of international support in addressing these matters.
