Fubara assigns admins to supervise Rivers councils

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has issued a directive for Heads of Local Government Administration to take immediate charge of their respective councils following the conclusion of the terms of 23 local government chairmen, vice chairmen, and councillors.

In his statewide address on Tuesday, June 18, Fubara emphasized the importance of upholding the Constitution and ensuring law and order. He commended the outgoing local government officials for their three years of dedicated service and expressed gratitude on behalf of the state government and citizens.

The governor wished the departing officials success in their future endeavors and called for unity among all stakeholders to maintain peace and prosperity in Rivers State and Nigeria. He highlighted the achievements made during their tenure and reiterated his commitment to the state’s development and well-being.

Fubara assured the people of Rivers State of continued infrastructure development, quality health care, education, and welfare services. He promised unwavering dedication to the progress of the state and its people.
