Firefighters in Ajloun Governorate successfully contained a raging fire in the Safsafa area after a strenuous battle. The teams responded swiftly to three separate ignition points in the region, preventing the fire from spreading further and causing any casualties.
The operation was supported by the Royal Air Force aircraft, Ajloun Police, Gendarmerie, Ajloun Agriculture Department, and the Greater Ajloun Municipality. A variety of vehicles and equipment were utilized, including fire engines, platforms, loaders, and agricultural tractors, to combat the blaze.
The collaborative effort involved personnel from the Public Security Directorate, who played a crucial role in aiding the Civil Defense teams. Despite the challenging terrain and high temperatures, the teams’ coordinated efforts successfully extinguished the fire and protected the surrounding areas.
