German Police Justify Illegal Deportation of Afghan Family
In an attempt to justify the deportation, the German Federal Police claimed the family was intercepted near Altmaedewitz in Brandenburg for unauthorized entry. Despite possessing Polish asylum and visa documents, the family had not applied for asylum in Germany, allegedly making them eligible for deportation to Poland.
“As there was no response from the Polish side for several hours, the officers decided to take the family to the German-Polish border near Hohenwutzen to release them to Poland,”
