Armenia, France ink deal for CAESAR howitzers in 80 chars

Exciting news for Armenia as Yerevan and Paris have officially agreed on the delivery of French CAESAR howitzers to the country. Sebastien Lecornu, the Minister for the Armed Forces of France, shared this update on X—formerly Twitter.

Lecornu expressed his pleasure in strengthening defense relations with Armenia and highlighted a productive discussion with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan at the Eurosatory international exhibition. The signing of the agreement for the acquisition of CAESAR cannons marks a significant milestone in this partnership.

The CAESAR, a powerful 155mm howitzer mounted on six armored Renault Sherpa 10 chassis, will enhance Armenia’s defense capabilities. This collaboration signifies a deepening bond between the two countries in the realm of military cooperation.
