During the celebration of Eid al-Adha, at least five Palestinians, including a woman, were tragically killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip. The violence continued as families observed this important religious holiday.
Reports from the Palestinian news agency WAFA detailed the devastating impact of the attacks, with three Palestinians, including a woman, losing their lives in a bombardment of a house in Sheikh Ridwan. In Nusairat refugee camp, additional attacks were carried out, further escalating the already dire situation in Gaza.
Gaza Civil Defense confirmed that two Palestinians were killed in another attack in the Bi’r Janada area of Tel es-Sultan district. The ongoing violence has resulted in a staggering death toll, with over 37,000 Palestinians killed since October 7. The casualties include thousands of children and women, with more than 85,000 people injured.
As the conflict continues to escalate, it is imperative for the international community to take action and work towards a peaceful resolution to prevent further loss of life in Gaza.
