Israel bans sacrificial animals from entering Gaza, cancels Eid al-Adha rituals.

The Gaza media office has condemned Israel’s ban on the entry of sacrificial animals, stating that it has deprived tens of thousands of families in the Gaza Strip of the opportunity to observe Eid al-Adha. This ban, which the office described as a “clear violation of human rights and a total disregard for human and Islamic values,” has prevented Muslims from performing the important religious rituals associated with the holiday.

Highlighting the integral role of sacrificial animals in Eid al-Adha, the office called for international intervention to stop what they see as a genocide and blatant violation of Muslims’ and human rights. The media office also held Israel and the US administration responsible for the ongoing crimes against Islam and the Palestinian people.

With nearly 37,300 Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israel since last October, the region is facing widespread destruction and a severe blockade on essential resources. Accusations of genocide have been brought to the International Court of Justice, demanding immediate action to address the crisis in Gaza.
