The Founder and Grand Sheik of the Muslims’ In Light Organization, SUFI Centre Nigeria, Dr. Rasheed Akinbile, addressed the economic hardship and frustration in Nigeria, emphasizing the need for divine guidance to alleviate suffering. In his Eid-el-Kabir message to PUNCH Online, he urged leaders and citizens to turn to Allah for survival in difficult times.
Dr. Akinbile highlighted the importance of following Allah’s guidance and the example of the Prophet to provide fast relief to the masses, especially in the provision of affordable food. He called for both leaders and citizens to deepen their faith, demonstrate love to fellow citizens, and be content with Allah’s provisions.
He cautioned against extravagant spending and unnecessary displays of wealth, encouraging simple living and moderation like the prophets Ibrahim and Ismail. Dr. Akinbile also stressed the government’s role in providing essential help in health and education for a prosperous nation.
