Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has launched a Black voter coalition group in an attempt to target a traditionally Democratic-leaning demographic. The group, “Black Americans for Trump,” aims to highlight the positive impact Trump has had on Black Americans, including lower unemployment rates and higher household income levels.

This move comes in response to President Joe Biden’s extensive outreach efforts to the Black community, with the launch of his own coalition group, “Black Voters for Biden-Harris.” Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have emphasized the importance of Black voters in securing their 2020 victory.

Trump’s efforts to connect with Black voters have also included appearances at Black Conservative Federation events and outreach to popular Black cultural figures. Despite some criticism for his approach, Trump’s campaign remains committed to engaging with Black voters, particularly younger Black men.

With the support of allies like Sen. Tim Scott and Reps. Byron Donalds and Wesley Hunt, Trump aims to continue his outreach efforts and make inroads with the Black community leading up to the election.

Stay tuned for more updates on Trump’s outreach to Black voters at his upcoming rally in Philadelphia.
