After enduring 1,680 days of imprisonment in Sweden, Iranian national Hamid Nouri was finally released on June 15, 2024. Nouri had been taken hostage by the Swedish government as part of a plot orchestrated by the MKO, a terrorist group responsible for the deaths of over 17,000 Iranians.
Arrested under false pretenses while visiting his relatives in Sweden, Nouri was accused of involvement in the punishment of MKO terrorists following the Islamic revolution. However, recent revelations have exposed the true nature of his detainment as a politically motivated act.
In a defiant act of solidarity, an Iranian citizen shared a video exhibition in Stockholm showcasing the atrocities committed by the MKO, shedding light on their crimes against humanity. This event serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing struggle for justice in the face of terrorism.
