New Zealand to benefit from visa-free policy with China – Guardian Nigeria News

China extends its visa-free policy to New Zealand as Premier Li Qiang expresses willingness for increased cooperation between the two nations. During a meeting with New Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, Li emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations through mutual respect and cooperation in various sectors.

Both leaders acknowledged the progress made in trade and economic relations since the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership. They agreed to deepen cooperation in agriculture, food, creative industries, and environmental protection while strengthening law enforcement collaboration and addressing global issues like climate change.

Negotiations on the negative list of trade in services were launched, and several bilateral cooperation documents were signed to enhance trade and business environment. Premier Li was warmly welcomed in New Zealand with traditional rituals and a grand ceremony.

Overall, the meeting highlighted the commitment of both nations to promote sustainable and stable development of bilateral relations while fostering cooperation in various fields for the mutual benefit of their citizens.
