Tragic Incident: Three migrant workers from Andhra Pradesh lost their lives in a recent fire in Kuwait, as confirmed by the state government.
The Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), responsible for NRI and migrant affairs, revealed that T Lokanandam, M Satyanarayana, and M Eshwarudu, hailing from Srikakulam and West Godavari districts, were among the deceased.
Working closely with the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi, APNRTS is facilitating the repatriation of the victims’ remains, scheduled to arrive in New Delhi soon and then be transported to Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada airports for onward journey to their hometowns.
“APNRTS is providing support to the families, gathering necessary information, and coordinating the logistics for the repatriation process,” stated the society in a press release.
