The conflict between Kyiv and Moscow escalated as both sides staged numerous drone and missile attacks overnight, causing injuries in Ukraine and damaging a fuel reservoir in a Russian border region.
Russian defense ministry claimed to have downed 87 Ukrainian drones, with the majority targeting the southern Rostov region. These attacks led to power outages in Rostov, while a fuel reservoir in Voronezh was slightly damaged.
On the Ukrainian side, air defense systems successfully intercepted 24 out of 31 Russian drones and missiles. The attacks resulted in people getting injured in various regions, including Selydove in Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv.
