In a tragic incident, two civilians were killed and seven others injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon, resulting in devastating loss and political tension.

The attack targeted a residential area, resulting in the death of a woman named Sally Skaiki, who was a medical auxiliary in the Amal-affiliated al-Risala scout association. Another woman, Dalal Ezzeddine, also succumbed to her injuries later.

These strikes were in response to provocations by Hezbollah, escalating tensions in the region. Israeli government official David Mencer vowed a strong retaliation to ensure security along the border.

The recent events have heightened concerns of a potential all-out war and underscore the delicate balance of power in the Middle East as various factions vie for control and influence.
