Iran and Saudi Arabia Hold Talks on Hajj Pilgrimage

The Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Iran recently had a positive conversation regarding the departure of Iranian pilgrims to the holy sites of Arafat and the upcoming days of Tashreeq. During the call, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Saudi officials in organizing the Hajj pilgrimage and wished for the safe completion of the rituals by Iranian pilgrims.

The discussion also touched upon the remaining Hajj rituals and the steps being taken by Saudi Arabia to facilitate the pilgrimage. Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to ensuring that all pilgrims have a peaceful and healthy Hajj experience.
