Tom Green Ventures Back to the Small Screen with Three New Prime Video Projects

Canadian comedian and actor Tom Green is making a comeback to television with three new projects for Prime Video, including a reality series showcasing his life on a farm. The shows are part of seven new Canadian projects ordered by the streaming platform, which also includes two true crime series, a northern survival show, and a docuseries about a woman who lost her memory.

Tom Green’s Prime Video Projects

Green, best known for his sketch comedy in the 1990s on “The Tom Green Show,” will produce, direct, and star in all three of his Prime Video ventures. “Tom Green Country” will provide viewers with a heartwarming look into the comedian’s life on a Canadian farm, complete with chickens, a donkey, and a mule. Additionally, an untitled comedy special and a documentary focusing on Green’s career and origins are in the works.

Other CanCon projects from Prime Video include true crime docuseries, “In Cold Water: The Shelter Bay Mystery,” and “Hard North,” which challenges participants to build a homestead in the wilderness. “50K First Dates” follows the story of a woman who mysteriously lost 15 years of her memory.

Last year, Prime Video also featured “Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe,” a documentary about the beloved TV icon. Stay tuned for these upcoming Canadian productions on Prime Video.
