An alarming revelation has emerged from a recent investigation by the Financial Times regarding Ukrainian children who were abducted during Russia’s 2022 invasion and are now being put up for adoption by Russian authorities. The children, ranging in age from eight to 15, have been located on a Russian adoption website, with some even being given false Russian identities. This discovery further adds to the growing evidence of alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Russia in Ukraine. Meanwhile, a recent ballistic missile strike by Russia on the Ukrainian city of Kryviy Rih resulted in the deaths of at least eight people and injuries to many others, including children.

The ongoing war in Ukraine has prompted world leaders to gather in Italy for crucial policy discussions, with a major focus on standing up to Russia’s aggression. At the same time, Russia has confirmed the deaths of two Indian nationals along the Ukraine frontline, sparking demands for action.
