Russian Naval Vessels Arrive in Cuba for Military Exercises

Russian naval vessels, including a warship and nuclear-powered submarine, have arrived in Cuba for military exercises in the Caribbean. The vessels were greeted with a cannon fire salute in the harbor. Officials confirm no nuclear weapons onboard.

Before reaching Cuba, the Russian defense ministry reported conducting training with “high-precision missile weapons.” The U.S. closely monitored the vessels, speculating Russia’s intent to showcase naval power post-Ukraine’s strikes on its fleet.

In response to Western threats, Russian President Putin hinted at supplying advanced weapons to regions for strikes on Western targets. The ongoing tension emphasizes the importance of global naval presence.
