NATO chief addresses evolution of alliance’s nuclear arsenal

NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg highlighted the ongoing adaptation of the military alliance’s nuclear arsenal, citing it as the ultimate security guarantee amidst rising tensions with Russia. The U.S. is modernizing its nuclear weapons in Europe, while F-35 jets replace the F-16 in NATO’s nuclear role.

Tensions between Russia and the West continue to escalate, with the U.S. considering increased deployment of strategic nuclear weapons. Russia and Belarus recently conducted nuclear drills, responding to perceived threats from Western officials.
