Argentine President Javier Milei declared that he would have to be removed from the Casa Rosada dead before giving up on achieving a zero deficit in the country. Speaking at an event in Buenos Aires before his trip to the G7 Summit in Italy, Milei emphasized his commitment to significant reforms and fiscal responsibility.
Milei highlighted the accomplishments of his administration in reducing inflation and addressing insecurity. He criticized the role of certain social organizations and promised to eliminate the PAIS Tax if the Bases Law is passed. The President expressed confidence in Argentina becoming a world power within 40 years.
A recent survey revealed that despite economic challenges, 63% of Argentines supported Milei’s leadership until October, with Libertarian voters remaining loyal to the government. Milei’s bold stance on economic reforms and social policies has garnered both support and criticism among the populace.
