Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, praised Iran’s military operation against the Zionist regime during a meeting with Iran’s Consul General Mehran Movahhedfar in Lahore. Hussain expressed solidarity with Iran over the loss of President Raisi and Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian in a helicopter crash, signing a memorial book in their honor.
Hussain reminisced about his previous trip to Iran to pay respects to Imam Khomeini and highlighted President Raisi’s efforts in strengthening relations between Iran and Pakistan. He commended Iran’s Operation True Promise, which targeted Israeli territories in response to attacks on an Iranian Embassy section in Damascus.
Movahhedfar appreciated Hussain’s presence despite his advanced age and honored President Raisi’s visit to Lahore as a significant moment in the relations between the two nations. The meeting emphasized the strong bond between Pakistan and Iran, particularly in supporting the Palestinian cause.
