Former President Donald Trump was recently interviewed by New York’s probation service in preparation for his sentencing next month for concealing hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. The interview, which lasted less than 30 minutes, is a routine process for convicts that covers various aspects of their life before a pre-sentencing report is sent to the judge.

Despite his legal team’s efforts to challenge the case, Trump faces the possibility of up to four years in prison for his 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to the scandal with Daniels. However, experts believe it is unlikely that he will receive a custodial sentence as it is his first criminal conviction.

Currently, Trump is facing three other criminal cases, including charges related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results, but these cases are not expected to be heard before the upcoming election in November. His sentencing is scheduled for July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention where he is expected to be officially anointed as the presidential nominee.
