Opposition MPs to start special parliament session June 11 with goal of government resignation

Armenia is set to witness a historic moment as the opposition factions of the National Assembly gear up to launch a special session of parliament on June 11 at 4:30pm. The main agenda of this session will be the resignation of the current government and the formation of a new parliament.

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the opposition movement, made this announcement at Republic Square in Yerevan, calling on the people to come together and support this decisive step. He emphasized the need for swift action, stating that the problem at hand can only be resolved within four days if the people unite and exert their will.

The Archbishop presented a three-step plan to achieve this goal, urging all National Assembly factions to participate in the special session and fulfill the will of the people. He emphasized the importance of acting with personal conscience and conviction for the greater good of Armenia.
