Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan recently met with the new United Nations Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Francoise Jacob. The meeting was focused on strengthening cooperation between Armenia and the UN.
Deputy PM Grigoryan expressed optimism about the potential for deeper collaboration between the two parties. He highlighted Armenia’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasized the importance of aligning sectoral strategies with the SDGs with the help of the UN.
The meeting also touched upon the development of human capital, with discussions on ongoing reforms in education, healthcare, and social security policies, as well as the challenges that come with these reforms.
