Iran’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri Kani, has urged the international community to take action against the Israeli regime for its ongoing genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories. In a letter to the UN chief, Bagheri Kani emphasized the importance of implementing the interim order from the International Court of Justice to halt the atrocities committed by Israel.
Despite previous condemnations and court orders, the Israeli regime continues to carry out airstrikes and ground operations in Gaza, causing immense suffering to innocent civilians. Bagheri Kani called on the UN to fulfill its duty to prevent genocide and ensure the humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people are met.
The letter also stressed the responsibility of member states to refrain from collaborating with the aggressor regime and urged the Security Council to take action. Bagheri Kani emphasized the urgency of ending the atrocities in Palestine and called for unity in pressuring Israel to comply with international law.
With strong language and a clear call to action, Bagheri Kani’s letter highlights the ongoing crisis in Palestine and the need for immediate intervention to stop the genocide.
