BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. Last week, more mines and unexploded ordnances were discovered in Azerbaijan’s recently liberated territories. A total of 88 anti-tank mines, 47 anti-personnel mines, and 615 unexploded ordnances were found during demining operations in various regions.

Over 1,362 hectares of land have been cleared of explosive devices, with demining operations conducted by teams from ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.

Since November 2020, following the liberation of its lands, Azerbaijan has been actively working to remove mines, booby traps, and other dangerous remnants left by the occupying Armenian forces.
