Israeli captives killed in Nuseir attack

The Tragic Aftermath of the Nuseirat Attack: A Hamas Perspective

Abu Obeida of Hamas spoke out after the devastating Israeli attack on the Nuseirat camp in Gaza, which resulted in the rescue of four captives but tragically left at least 210 Palestinians dead. He described the attack as a “complex war crime” and emphasized the harm caused to captives by the Israeli regime.

Obeida lamented that while some captives were freed, others lost their lives in the brutal operation. He warned that the operation would have a lasting impact on the conditions and lives of the captives. Hamas had captured approximately 250 individuals, including Israeli settlers, during the Al Aqsa Storm Operation. Following a ceasefire, some were released, but nearly 120 remain in Gaza, with 43 declared dead by the Palestinian resistance group.

As the situation continues to unfold, the repercussions of the Nuseirat attack are profound and tragic, highlighting the ongoing conflict between Hamas and the Israeli regime.
