Exploring China’s Historical Heritage: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Visits Terracotta Warriors Museum
On his official visit to China, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation had the opportunity to explore the fascinating Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi’an. The visit was a special invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping, who wanted to showcase the preservation and restoration of historical heritage in his hometown.
As they walked through the museum, PM Shehbaz and his team were in awe of the ancient Chinese statues and the craftsmanship of the artisans dating back to 200 BC. Impressed by China’s dedication to preserving its historical assets, the Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the Chinese government’s efforts.
Pakistan, too, has a rich history and cultural heritage, and PM Shehbaz emphasized the importance of restoring and promoting these sites for tourism. He thanked President Xi for the invitation and recognized the need for similar initiatives in Pakistan.
Accompanied by federal ministers and officials, the delegation witnessed first-hand the beauty and historical significance of China’s cherished relics, leaving with a newfound appreciation for cultural preservation and tourism promotion.
