Narendra Modi is set to be sworn in as India’s Prime Minister for the third time on June 9, Sunday, at 6 pm. This announcement was made by BJP leader Pralhad Joshi during the NDA parliamentary party meeting on Friday.
The NDA, with 293 MPs, has a comfortable majority in the 543-member Lok Sabha.
Senior BJP leaders like Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and J P Nadda are in talks with allies to determine their roles in the new government. This partnership will be crucial for the BJP’s continued governance.
After the setback of losing their majority in the June 4 election, the BJP has been swift in forming a new government with the support of allies.
