Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law discovers and discards his gun

In a dramatic turn of events, Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law testified that she found and disposed of his gun due to his escalating addiction, potentially strengthening the prosecution’s case against him for illegally owning a firearm as a drug user. The trial, taking place in Wilmington, Delaware, follows the recent conviction of Donald Trump, with some alleging political motivations behind the prosecutions.

Jurors saw surveillance footage of Hallie Biden discarding the gun in a supermarket trash can and texts expressing concern for Hunter’s well-being. Despite pleading not guilty, Hunter faces three felony charges. His lawyer argues that he may have been sober when he purchased the gun in October 2018.

The defense asserts Hunter had no intent to deceive, with Hallie testifying about his struggles with addiction and her own battle with drugs. Although facing a potential 25-year sentence, Hunter claims to have been sober since 2019.

The trial continues with more witnesses slated to testify, shedding light on the complex dynamics surrounding the case.
