Germany approves war plan – RT World News

Germany is taking significant steps to prepare for potential threats, including reinstating compulsory military service and creating a detailed defense plan to address rising concerns over Russian aggression. Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s cabinet approved the new defense framework, which includes mandatory conscription, controlled food distribution, and the deployment of NATO troops on the eastern flank.

The government plans to stockpile food supplies in secret locations, evacuate parts of the country, and use underground facilities as shelters in case of emergency. Beyond military measures, citizens may be required to work in essential civilian roles, and hospitals must prepare for potential surges in patients.

Defense Minister Boris Pistorius emphasized the need for a resilient society capable of dealing with security challenges, pointing out the importance of collective contributions to national defense. The government aims to bolster the Bundeswehr and address equipment shortages after abolishing the draft in 2011.

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed claims of Russian aggression towards NATO as absurd, accusing Western governments of fabricating threats to maintain global dominance. As tensions escalate, Germany and its allies are bracing for potential conflicts, highlighting the need to prioritize defense readiness in the years ahead.
