BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. The Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Zhaksylykov, visited Azerbaijan, laying flowers at the graves of national leaders and discussing military cooperation. The visit began with a tribute at the graves of Heydar Aliyev and Zarifa Aliyeva, followed by honoring martyrs in the Alley of Shehids.
A welcoming ceremony at the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry included passing the guard of honor and signing the Book of Honor. Defense Ministers Hasanov and Zhaksylykov emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in military-technical and educational fields.
Zhaksylykov invited Hasanov to a military exercise in Aktau, highlighting the significance of joint training to enhance professionalism. The meeting, attended by Ambassador Bayel, concluded with a cooperation document signing.
Overall, the visit underscored the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in defense matters, paving the way for further collaboration and exchange of views on mutual interests.
