Mbappe scores as France easily defeat Luxembourg in win

France, the Euro 2024 favourites, secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Luxembourg in an international friendly as they gear up for the upcoming tournament in Germany. Superstar striker Kylian Mbappe showcased his skills by scoring a goal in the match.

Although Luxembourg proved to be a tough opponent in the first half, France eventually broke through with goals from Randal Kolo Muani and Jonathan Clauss. Substitute Bradley Barcola further extended France’s lead by setting up Mbappe for a spectacular goal.

Veteran midfielder N’Golo Kante made a solid return to the team after a long absence, providing support both defensively and offensively. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan had a relatively quiet night thanks to a strong defensive performance from France.

The French team received great support from fans at the match held in Metz and will now prepare to face Canada before their Euro 2024 opener against Austria on June 17 in Dusseldorf.
